Chung Ling High School is a national-type Chinese secondary school in George Town, the city at the heart of Penang Island. Like other national-type Chinese secondary schools, it follows the national curriculum and prepares students for SPM, while its students commonly move between Mandarin, English and Malay across a school day. That is a real strength, but it also means the language a student is most fluent in when thinking about science may not be the language of the exam paper.
